I have never been more free than the past few days, so I have been doing stress-free stuff. I just watched Pink Panther 2 yesterday with Yoh, and it was a laugh. I now know how my name sounds with a french accent. Been quite bored at home since I applied for a few jobs and haven't gotten any reply. I just hope I find a job soon. Ever since I moved into my new home, I have a new interest - assembling furniture bought from Ikea. I can handle basic and small size furniture, and I know how to use a screwdriver, which is better than the old me who doesn't know anything. I have been more savvy with furniture nowadays. I helped my Mum assemble two trolleys, and it tallys the total furniture that I assembled in the house to a number of 3, and I am quite proud of my achievement. I like it when I see the whole thing come together.
The next 21 days (the number of days to make or break a habit), I should stop using words that should not come out from my mouth, making me sound really uncouth. I wanna read more books too, especially my LOTR series which I bought a few years ago. Out of four books, I haven't even finish the first one. My-my. I have been using a lot of Singlish, and I should stop speaking Chinese because it was where Singlish was derived from. I wanna sound like a Caucasian speaking Chinese with that slang. HAHA.
Shucks. I have to continue finding a job if I don't get a reply on Monday. Wish me luck - with the worst recession in the past ten years.

workin on saturdays next time!!!
Mum just drives me crazy. Just a few moments ago, I was sent off to get some takeaways for dinner - for Mum and her mahjong friends. She was deliberating whether she was gonna cook or get takeaways on her own in the morning, but decided to send me instead. So I went to get the food, and when it came to the roast duck and roast pork which they wanted it with plain rice, the stall helper said there is no plain rice. When I came back and told Mum that there was no plain rice, she exclaimed so loudly, "Oh-yoh", as if it was my fault, and for that moment I thought she really took me for granted. Like its my fault that they don't have plain rice, despite the fact that I really did ask for plain rice and there wasn't any. I especially hate to buy food for people, as these kind of things would probably happen.
The mahjong session is so noisy, when they talk and exclaim, and when they shuffle the tiles, even with closing two doors, I could still hear the shuffling of the tiles. In the event to get away from the house and not hearing any of that noise and not getting any takeawyas, I should get a job that will need me to work on saturdays, because, I would assume that Mum's friends would come more often.
My initial idea was not to have any mahjong table in the house, but Mum will still buy one no matter what. Geez, I probably should have insisted that there shouldn't be any gambling in the house.

first ever!!
Yesterday was my first time organizing a mahjong session at my house - since I didn't have a mahjong table at my old house. I played mahjong for the first time, of course with a little help along the way. It was my first time eating canadian pizza too. This is the first time any of my male friends know I am living with only my mum, but nowadays I am not that afraid of people having to know about my family situation. Their faces was shocked for a second, then they said sorry, I guess I am alright to these kind of things now. It was my first time having my friends over at my new house, and I hope it gave them a homely feeling like it has for me, and some of them said that my house is clean. Thanks to my Mum who is a clean-freak, and a housework-aholic.
Overall from the entire session, I lost a few bucks from playing poker and blackjack. I enjoyed myself, and I hope my poly friends did too. I'm looking forward to the next gathering because after we graduate, we might not be able to hang out that often and the guys need to go for their NS soon. I'm kinda anxious for my poly results, and also for the graduation ceremony - I will definitely take pictures with my lecturers on that day if I can. Good and happy day yesterday, and I hope that would last till Monday whereby I have to seriously look for a job. Wish me luck!!

Fruitful Day ~ Woohoo ~
Watched "The Wedding Game" & "Underworld: Rise of The Lycans" with Yoh today. This must be my second movie marathon since the Pirates of The Caribbean movie marathon that another of my poly friend organized. The first movie was fun to watch, laughed a lot, and the real-life celebrity couple in the movie look really compatible, so I can't wait to get the scoop on their real wedding!!! Kinda feel happy for them, since they have been "going out" for so long!! Muahaha!!
The second movie was dark, bloody, and romantic. My kind of genre, except that the movie was dark most of the time, and I think I might have night blindness because it was kinda hard to concentrate. Werewolves and vampires are very intriging creatures to me, so I enjoyed this movie a lot. I can take bloody scenes in a movie - since I am a big fan of Happy Tree Friends..(Imagine: Evil Laugh - Muahahahaha..)
Romance? Guess its okay..I think (rolls eyeballs) Haha..just jokin'. Romance is my weakness, but I guess all girls like a bit of romance. Talking about romance, how will you spend Valentine's?
Hmm...I won't really spend it though. My mum might probably be out, so I will spend some time fantasising on a manga story inspired by a japanese drama I'm watching now. Haha..I'm your typical OTAKU!!! Have to do up some sketches for a T-shirt design for a potential business. Yoh really gave it careful thought to this, so I should do up some research as well.
Other than the two movies, I swagged two rings at an accessories shop(I am a sucker for accessories!! Rings especially!!!), and Yoh managed to get some clothes that she had looked for a while now. A happy day today - spending with a friend and doing stuff together!!
What a great day today!! Wish I will be happy like today in more days to come!!! Muahahaha...wahahahaha!!!

hooked!!
I am hooked on playing harvest moon on my DS. Guess I want a life where I can grow vegetables and rear farm animals. Stress free - but need to make sure I am making money from the farm. Geez. The gaming life is so surreal, too bad it ain't true. I would really want to try living a farm life though.
Been very free these few days, so from tomorrow onwards, I am gonna do something productive rather than playing the game the whole day. Hmm...I wonder. I guess I should start doing some exercise at home, since I have no one to go running with. I should also work on drawing some sketches for that T-shirt design my poly friends and I wanted to try out. My mini portfolio - Wahahahaha.
I am gonna start looking for a job on Friday, through the online job-hunting website that I have. I wanna look for a job that makes me walk here and there so I can burn the tremendous amount of fat off my body. I am not gonna look for a job with my secondary school friend anymore, because she has been kind of a fair-weathered friend(and I feel she makes use of me for monetary means, as she lends money from me and fakes forgetting that she owes me and never pays me back), so I think I would rather work alone or try working with my poly friends.
I need to motivate myself for this week, to do up some sketches and stuff. I don't wanna laze off and accumulate more fat!!

Conclusion!!
That is what I am gonna do for the next few months to a year - because I am not applying for university now/this year.
I wanna carefully think what I really want to do, what kind of degree to take up, and what I can make a living out of it if I graduate from university. I didn't get to do what I want in poly (which was 2D animation actually), but I actually learned quite a bit about the media industry and how hard it would be to survive in it.
I would need to help Mum with the finances, I don't think I would wanna rely on her buying stuff for me anymore, and I wanna buy more stuff for myself. If I work I would give her a portion of my salary, like what I have been doing for the past few jobs I had. I wanna be financially independent - well, at least for a year!!!
Yup, that's my plan for this year. I guess my poly friends intend to do the same thing, and some of them don't wanna further their studies, and I have to agree on some of the reasons when I previously asked them.
I hope my results for this semester are ideal, so I can get enough points to apply for a university next year. I am gonna rest for two weeks then find a job. Wish me luck on job hunting!!
Cheers to all my poly friends because we officially ended our presentations yesterday!! Woo-hoo!! Time to celebrate and P-A-R-T-Y!!!!

Really LOL!!!
I realized I have been laughing really loud - for a girl, but laughing really makes my day. I don't mind if I laugh out when I am really happy, because I would be, and I wouldn't wanna fake being happy by laughing really stupidly. I enjoy being happy, and my secondary school friends say my really happy and tickled laughter is infectious and contagious, and sometimes I can laugh really evil too. That would happen when I see something really funny or stupid.
Laughing is really my best medicine - even though I am not a really optimistic person. But I dare say: I am a happy person!!!!
