One of my favorite animes - Itazura na Kiss just ended. The ending was okay, I guess, but I really liked this anime a lot. I could say I cried quite a number of times while watching this anime and I really found it to be quite sweet too.
Last saturday I went on a shopping spree. I went to submit the timesheets for my colleagues and myself to get our salaries, and I went to Kinokuniya to get my comics. The moment I went to the bookshop, I immediately head for the comics section, and started taking them off the shelves one by one. When the books in my hand were too much to hold, I placed them down and took out my shopping list from my bag, like what a mother would do while at a grocery store, and I took one extra book which was in Japanese, and didn't know about it until I got home, and had to return to the shop on that fateful sunday with my mom to exchange it. With 18 books in my hands, I walked to the queue for the counters to make payement and a Japanese boy with his mother in front of me was looking at the number of books I was carrying in my hands. I certainly felt a few other customers stare at me, but I acted like I didn't care about them at all. I then made payment and used the discount card my brother got for me for my birthday. It was kinda affordable, I guess - about S$102 for like 18 books. I'm so glad I got my brother to get the card. After the bookshop, I went to get a new laptop battery as mine was already cranky and getting overheated, and I got it at a disocunt of 5%. I would say I was insane, getting all those books one time. Oh well - I just don't know my limits yet, and I was advised by my mum not to pull such a stunt again. Haha.
I'm satisfied with what I already have..haha. I'm someone who is easily satisifed - I think, which is good. Gotta hit the sketching again - have to draw stuff for the graduation showcase again. SHUCKS.

feelin' helpless...
These few days I'm really happy overall, but today I was being "politely reprimanded" by my lady officer at the work place. She has this really stern look on her face which I can't describe, and every time she comments on any of the things I have done wrong, I would feel so insulted and humiliated. I don't know why, but I just don't like her way of teaching me like that. I'm also feeling helpless as when I try to help her, I get that kind of comments - makes me feel helpless and I also get the feeling that she doesn't like me at all. When I am not working at the reception with her and she smiles at other colleagues, she just has that nice and friendly smile, which I don't see. Is it me or does she have something against me and shows it like she has a different persona? I wonder...
Just done celebrating my birthday over the weekend last week. My secondary school friends got me this wood carved necklace with my name on it which I thought was really cute, and a hooded jacket with the silhouettes of disney's fab 5 - mickey, minnie, donald, goofy and pluto plastered all over - like the design of the graphics, and I'm also a sucker for jackets. My brother and his girlfriend got me a card to get discounts for my comics - which I can use it for getting all those books accumulated for so many months that I have yet to buy. I didn't exactly celebrate my birthday this year - I was so bored of the places to go to hang out at.
Another reason to be happy about was I got a whopping 3.45 GPA for this semester and this has been by far my highest grade ever. I have to buck up for next semester to get better grades to get in a university, as I don't want to give up on studying just yet, and besides I'm not ready for the working industry.
Another two weeks down till my contract ends and can't wait for it to do so and get back to school - schooling life is still the best, in my opinion that is. I'm so glad my demo reel is done, although I just submitted minutes ago.
Now, I have to start on learning programming. Oh bother...now I'm feeling so helpless...I have to convince myself to overcome programming now, DARN IT.

happy.
I have got many reasons to be happy about. My results this semester was quite good, and it actually brought my results for the whole two years up a little. (Yesterday) Saturday, I went out with my secondary school friends for a dinner at Mar'che at vivo city. Good location to go to - since I wanted to go there a few weeks ago actually. Dinner was a blast - got to have salmon, a bowl of soup and a brownie dessert for me. After dinner we went to the arcade, initially wanted to go play bowling and/or pool, but one of my girlfriends had to leave early. Oh well, another time perhaps. Before we went home, my other girlfriend gave me my early birthday present - a disney hoodie jacket, and a necklace, very cute stuff. Today, I'm meeting my bro and his girlfriend for lunch. So many reasons to be happy. However, come Monday, the despair of putting weight on will surface. Hahaha..but who cares, I will try to lose that weight again somehow though. T-T

made a blunder today..
Today at the singpass counter, I overlooked a member's expiry date for the passport. I didn't know why I made that blunder or why I didn't scan to look for the expiry date. I just don't know what happened to me in the morning. I was not tired or sleepy, but I was definitely bored. When that member came up to the counter, I looked only at the identification number and his photo. The most important thing I should have looked at first was the expiry date, which was actually crucial when allowing members to apply a singpass with the passport. That killed my day when I thought about it. In the morning I was so happy that there were new staff coming in - which means my lunch break is back to 1 hour instead of just 30 minutes which was too rushed. In the afternoon, I had to teach a new guy about the proceedings we do at the counter, and I hoped he understood it.
I just hope I dont't get fired now. Worst of all, with all the work, I haven't done my demo reel and learn programming for real. I'm so dead.

im so dead.
I'm now down with a cold and a sore throat at the same time, and this is not the time to get sick! I would also have to produce 20 drawings for a demo reel, and currently I only have one pathetic one! Plus the dateline to hand up that demo reel would be by next week, and I really can't afford the time to do so many as I would be so tired after work. On top of that I haven't done any programming tutorials or anything! I'M SO DEAD!! Better work on those drawings and make time to learn programming for real!! Somebody save me!! Now I'm really worried... T-T

hmmm...
Today, my job at the reception went unexpectedly pleasant. However, my officer was kinda unhappy with me at the beginning, but somehow at the end, I thought it all went well. I know that I shouldn't be too happy as I only worked half a day today, and come Monday, there would be definitely more people coming in to enquire and sign up for stuff, and I hope I will be able to handle it. It was not as bad as I thought - luckily for me. Better sleep early today...

stress..kinda
Now I have to learn something new in my job, and I don't really know if I am up to it. Although I always repeat myself to every customer when they sign up for their singpass (another thing that most Singaporeans will know), there is always a level of stress there as the customer will ask for other enquires, which many I would be unable to answer. I would also tend to mumble occasionally when I speak to the customers. I have to do my homework and read up on the information that they would most likely ask. Oh my... More homework now...
Another thing that I was stressed about is this colleague that tries to knock me for my money. During the first week at my job, she asked me to lend her my clothes, and that I didn't do. Later she asked me to lend her two bucks, and she took like two to three days to return. Just this week she asked me to lend her twenty bucks, to get a pregnancy test kit, and that I also didn't lend to as well. After that, just Wednesday she asked if I brought along my ATM card, and I said I didn't have it on me. See! This is how she tries to get money from me and I find it kind of despicable. She takes leave each week, and complains that she needs the money. The fact about buying a pregnancy kit makes me sick, as her religion does not allow her to have pre-marital sex. If she saw any chance to get pregnant, should she not have taken any precautions at all? I am sick of lying to her, and I just wanna give her a piece of my mine sometimes. She has so many sides of her that makes me kinda skeptical about who she really is, and seriously I am confused. I am trying to avoid her and it seems that I can't shake her off, and she just stays at the block across the road!
Oh my goodness...somebody save me!!
